BalticMiles members reach 5m litres milestone at fuel retailer
Members of the Baltic states’ first coalition loyalty scheme BalticMiles have bought 5 million litres of fuel at Neste petrol stations in Latvia in the nine months since the fuel retailer joined the scheme.
Members receive one BalticMiles point for each litre of fuel. Points can be redeemed for airline tickets, SPA procedures or even a sub-orbital flight in space.
BalticMiles CEO Eric Barray commented: “Neste is one of the first and most popular partners in the multi-partner BalticMiles program. Participants in the program have an outstanding opportunity to save up their points and then spend them at www.balticmiles.com, or with other BalticMiles partners.”
Ilze Perkone, Neste’s marketing and client relationship manager for Latvia, said the number of BalticMiles clients who buy fuel at Neste outlets has “increased actively” each month.
Neste Latvija joined the BalticMiles loyalty programme in February. Neste is one of the leaders in the oil retail sector in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
BalticMiles was launched in October 2009. Its rewards offers include flights, hotel nights, SPA treatments, car rentals, cinema tickets, perfumes and cosmetics, jewellery and watches, design items for the house, bags and suitcases for travel, toys for children and 2,700 other items available at the www.balticmiles.com online shop. It has also established a programme enabling its members to donate points to several charities.
