Carphone Warehouse joins Nectar Business
It has been a mixed month for Nectar.
Earlier in February, the consumer side of the business had to announce that department store Debenhams was leaving the multi-retailer scheme, but today was a good news day with the announcement that CarphoneWarehouse was to join the Nectar B2B scheme.
Carphone Warehouse will offer points and redemptions not only for telephone services but also for website design, web hosting, and security software.
Redemption options include new office equipment (such as Bluetooth headsets, laptops, and printers), or employee benefits such as trips and wine.
The Carphone Warehouse currently operates more than 2,200 stores in eleven countries.
American Express Nectar card
Last month American Express launched a no-annual-fee Nectar credit card which allows users to collect four Nectar points for every £1 spent when using both the card itself and the Nectar loyalty card in participating stores, including BP, Sainsbury’s and Thompson.
Nectar is now owned by Canadian airline loyalty company Aeroplan.
