Pair partner to offer scientific customer counting and behavioural analysis
Ipsos Retail Performance and Skywave have formed a partnership to offer merchants insight into the shopping habits of customers in Asia.
Ipsos Retail Performance supplies scientific footfall monitoring and behavioural analysis services for retailers to measure, manage and improve customer volumes, sales opportunities, conversion rates, staff stretch, promotional activity and in-store lay-outs.
Singapore-based Skywave provides an electronic shopper counting system that utilizes electronics, data processing, signal and camera treatment.
The companies say the aim of the partnership is to offer retailers in Asia a scientific customer counting and behavioural analysis service.
“Skywave enjoys a major presence in Singapore and other Asian countries and this partnership will provide us with the ability to extend and enhance the value of their customer counting services to retailers,” said Sen Sampanthar, partner programme director for France-based Ipsos. “Skywave has excellent customer counting technologies in place and our role is to bring even greater to the value of their data by giving retailers detailed analysis and insights into consumer behaviour.
