Euro 2008: Limited edition 3D credit card with rewards
The German publishing house, DG VERLAG has worked with Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken and Giesecke and Devrient to produce a limited edition MasterCard credit card for Euro 2008.
Card manufacturer Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) has provided the technology for the card, which contains a diorama 3D image, giving an impressive glimmering effect.
An interesting feature of the card is that customers earn additional loyalty points if they have registered their MasterCard on www.activefever.de – the sports and event portal. The collected points can be used to purchase from a wide bonus range of goods. I addition, registered customers can participate in drawings, games and other web based activities.

The card design required a construction consisting of several lucent coatings, an outstanding print technology to apply the adidas EUROPASS tournament football as well as the Active Fever emblems on the credit cards and special production technologies create impressive effects.
