Fairmount Hotels partners with luxury car maker
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced formal partnership with car manufacturer Lexus have announced a formal partnership which will see the use of Lexus hybrid vehicles as hotel courtesy cars for the hotel chain’s loyalty programme members.
The fleet of hybrid vehicles from Lexus, the luxury car division of Japanese manufacturer Toyota, will be reserved exclusively for the use Fairmont President’s Club members. Hybrid vehicles are claimed to provide greater fuel mileage with lower smog-forming emissions, and will be available to transport guests around the destination.
Fairmont guests will be able to travel in an RX 400h hybrid luxury utility vehicle or the GS 450h, a luxury performance sedan. ”Like Fairmont, Lexus is a flagship brand that has carved out an enviable niche within its industry, and continues to lead with a distinctive product, innovative thinking and an unyielding commitment to service excellence,” commented Brian Richardson, VP, brand marketing for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
The companies say they will also work closely on co-branded marketing opportunities and will extend special benefits and privileges to their respective network of frequent guests and loyal customers. One example is the co-branded Lexus Hybrid Living Suites, high-end accommodations geared for eco-conscious visitors, launched earlier this spring at The Fairmont San Francisco and The Fairmont Washington, D.C., which includes complimentary use of a Lexus LS 600h L, the flagship sedan of Lexus’s hybrid fleet.
