Hotel chain considers super-elite tier
Plan to reward top level customers
The Hilton hotel chain’s HHonors rewards scheme is considering the introduction of an elite-level tier for its most loyal customers.
Hilton’s head of loyalty Jeff Diskin told the HotelCheckin website that the initiative was still at the planning stage: “We’re evaluating whether or not another tier level will evolve.”
Hilton currently has four tiers – basic blue, plus the elite tiers of silver, gold and – the hardest to earn – diamond.
Hilton reserves its top level rewards – diamond-level status – to customers who make 28 stays, 60 nights or 100,000 base points during any calendar year.
