Independent hotel card debuts in Russia
Partnership with St. Petersburg-based Nevsky Hotel Grand
The Nevsky Hotel Grand in St. Petersburg has become the first hotel in Russia to partner with independent hotel loyalty scheme Voila.
The hotel is the flagship of the Nevsky Hotels Group and is joining the Volia scheme that comprises a network of more than 250 four- and five-star independent hotels and luxury brands.
Iliya Kapustin, general manager of The Nevsky Hotel Gran, commented: “We believe that our guests will see it as a great benefit that they now can earn and redeem points in our hotel, but also in any of the other 250+ hotels worldwide participating.”
He added that, from a business perspective, the hotel group expects that the partnership will help it to drive more repeat guest bookings, and help shift booking volume from 3rd party channels to its own website and direct channels.
The Nevsky Hotel Grand is located near to the Palace Square and the State Hermitage Museum. The Nevsky Hotel Grand also boasts five luxurious suites featuring a king-size bed, personal sitting area, telephone, television, air-conditioner, sauna and private jacuzzi.
Voila Hotel Rewards says it will soon announce programme launches for several other new hotels in Russia.
