Advice from the judges
Customer loyalty is confirming its position as a central tenet of business. Whether in retail, airlines & travel, hotels or B2B. Whether the product is technology based, or uses emotions and experiences to cement a relationship, there needs to be an understanding between the two parties that being loyal is worth rewarding. Ensuring that customers keep returning is crucial to survival. Winning a Loyalty Magazine Award is the highest accolade in the business.
The judges suggest that you begin with the Title for your entry, then move on to the 50 word description. Next, write the 200 word summary. By this time, your thoughts will be in order, and the writing of the main entry (1000 words maximum) will be easy.
Don’t assume knowledge (our judges come from all over the world and so may not know your loyalty programme) and remember to explain to them why you think your entry is special and worth of winning an award.
If you are entering more than one category, amend your entry to fit the criteria for each category. This gives you a greater chance of winning.
Last year The Loyalty Magazine Award judges said how impressed they were with the creativity and often sheer brilliance of the winning entries. They are really looking forward to reading yours, so get on and start writing!
