Liverpool city brands join forces for ‘trade-boosting’ loyalty scheme
Hair and beauty salon Voodou has formed a consortium loyalty scheme in Liverpool to encourage city trade.
The six-strong chain of salons founded by Voodou’s Rob Webb has linked with Greens Health & Fitness, Yo Sushi, TM Lewin, Resurrection Clothing and Revolution to form Voodou Disciples.
Clients receive discounts both in-salon and with the participating brands.
Rob said: “The scheme is our way of beating the credit crunch and promoting business in a positive and inclusive way.
“We have developed relationships with like-minded brands and want to see Liverpool businesses work together on unique and long-term relationships and we hope attract new and existing customers to the city.”
On their first visit to the Voudou salon, a customer is invited to become a Novice Disciple. They receive a printed Loyalty Card to track benefits
On visit three, the customer becomes a Dedicated Disciple and gets a plastic Voodou Disciple Card to use around the city.
Various retailers are giving a variety of different benefits and there is the opportunity to win a £300 pampering session. Also at Voudou, disciples receive:
visit 1 Free image consultation
visit 2 Free scalp or conditioning treatment
visit 3 Customers get the new Disciple Card that gives them VIP benefits all over Liverpool
visit 4 Free face mapping
visit 8 Free Cut & Finish.
The scheme is a loyalty “loop” – so every 8th visit customers get a free Cut & Finish. With more than 4,000 members so far Voodou Disciples is claimed to be developing into an influential social network of style-conscious men and women in Liverpool.
