Nectar Business launches iPhone app
Application features 25-point guide for SMEs
The UK SME loyalty programme Nectar Business has launched a free iPhone app.
The app enables small businesses to collect personalised Nectar point offers using their iPhone, as well as keeping up to date with their account.
Collectors can view their points balance and receive exclusive Nectar point offers delivered to their mobile from a range of partner brands including Viking Direct, Dulux Decorator Centres, Hertz, Sainsbury’s and Ford.
The app also includes a ‘store and reward locator’ which lets collectors find their closest store location to collect and spend Nectar points.
The app also provides access to a business guide: ’25 Top Tips for Small Business’. Aimed at business people such as builders, restaurateurs or sole-traders, the guide aims to help any small business run more effectively and efficiently. It contains advice, hints, tips and useful resources in five key areas of business including marketing, managing cash flow and social media.
Louise Isaacs, head of Nectar Business, commented: “We are confident it will be a hit with SMEs as recent research reveals that the use of smart-phones by small businesses has more than doubled over the last three years, with nearly half (48 per cent) now using them for business purposes.
“Small Business owners are often on the move, and the Nectar Business app means they can now collect points on-the-go, 24/7. The app also enables us to communicate with business collectors through a channel that’s relevant to them and that can be accessed anywhere, at any time.”
The new app is available to download from the App store now by searching for ‘Nectar’.
