Nectar, the UK’s main loyalty coalition scheme, is joining forces with the online health and well-being company, Fitbug, in a groundbreaking partnership.
The new offering sees Nectar align with a digital brand that will enhance its online presence and provide a unique way for Nectar collectors to earn Nectar Points.
Nectar’s partnership with Fitbug is the first offering of its kind for Nectar collectors. Fitbug offers online personal health and well-being services by combining ‘The Bug’, a matchbox sized gadget carried in pockets to record daily activity together with web technology to evaluate and provide feedback on activity and healthy eating; ultimately motivating the user towards a healthier lifestyle. Nectar points are then collected as a reward for physical activity and for eating a healthy diet.
The new partnership provides Nectar with an exclusive proposition that no other UK loyalty programme offers. Nectar Fitbug will be promoted via Nectar’s range of marketing channels including communication on the Nectar website, as well as support from a consumer PR campaign.
