Online rewards move onto the high street
Scheme members want to earn in online and real world
Pigsback.com, an online community that rewards members for interacting with brands, has partnered with loyalty management company Reward to launch a high street loyalty programme
Pigsback.com says it conducted extensive research amongst over 2,000 members found that 98% wanted to save on the high street in addition to online
Pigsback.com is partnering with fellow UK company Reward, to enable its 650,000 members to shop at a range of high street stores and add the points they save to their ‘PiggyPoints’ account, redeemable for a variety of rewards including money-off vouchers.
Pigsback.com has implemented Reward’s collection technology meaning members only need to register their existing payment cards once to start earning PiggyPoints at participating retailers. Reward’s high street retail network includes Superdrug, Cineworld and Halfords.
Jo Malvern, group brand director of Pigsback.com, commented: “Online shopping continues to grow year on year but we can’t forget the high street.
“Traditional retailers still take a massive slice of consumer spending and our recent research showed that consumers remain passionate about saving through their high street shopping. Simple and rapid integration with Reward’s technology platform helped us to quickly meet our members’ demands, by growing the already extensive number of retailers where Pigsback.com members can gain PiggyPoints.” ??Pigsback.com’s current UK brand partners include L’Oreal, Simple, Typhoo, Virgin Holidays, Tesco, Sky, Intercontinental Hotels and John Lewis.
