QHotels launches guest rewards scheme
QHotels has launched a loyalty scheme for guests to increase its share of the business travel market.
The hotel group, which operates 21 four-star properties in the UK, has invested £26,000 in the initiative and aims to attract 5,000 members by June next year.
The scheme, called ThankQ Rewards, enables guest to collect points for every pound they spend on their total bills. The points – two for every £1 spent – can be redeemed as part or full payment for any goods or services at a QHotel, including room upgrades, chocolate and champagne on arrival, or family breaks.
Group sales director David Taylor commented: “AS a group we are well-recognised for our conference and leisure product and less so for what we offer to the business market but we shouldn’t be overlooked.
“Many of our hotels, such as The Midland and The Queens, Leeds, occupy key city centre positions, whereas hotels like the Cheltenham Chase, the Oxford Belfry, Tankersley Manor (Sheffield) and The Nottingham Belfry are all just minutes from a main motorway junction and handy for those business travellers who spend a great deal of time on the road going from A to B for business meetings.
“Our investment into ThankQ Rewards shows our commitment to rewarding people who regularly stay and use our hotels.”
The scheme has signed up more than 1,500 members in its first month. Members can keep track of their points via a dedicated website.
