Racing scheme rewards all involved
The horse racing industry in Australia has launched a loyalty scheme whereby everyone involved in racing can earn reward points.
Racing NSW Rewards Club is a rewards program set up by Racing NSW to reward the members of the NSW thoroughbred industry. It allows members to earn and redeem points for a variety of products and services throughout NSW.
The organization says that “Buying a horse or a day at the races will allow members to earn reward points, which can be redeemed for dollars off their next purchase Program Partners. And, the benefits don’t stop there – with the Racing NSW Rewards Club, members can stay up-to-date with the latest Horse Racing news, tips and events.
“Whether you own horses, train horses, breed horses or just enjoy watching horses race, Racing NSW Rewards Club is the program to provide you with everything you need in racing.
Racing NSW believes the program can generate an additional A$50m in annual revenue for the NSW industry within three years.
Free membership will allow members to earn points for nearly every dollar spent within the NSW Racing Industry through a wide range of program partners.
Points earned may be redeemed to pay for products and services from program partners including thoroughbred purchases, insurance, service fees, club memberships, dining experiences and training fees.
Members can transfer points to the Rewards Club from most credit card loyalty programs and also points accrued in the TAB Number 1 Club.
Additional benefits will include members events, access to “money can’t buy” experiences, special privileges, savings from partners and sponsors, as well as guides and reference tools for owning, breeding and training thoroughbreds.
Other features include a Rewards Club website and Thoroughbred Payments, that enables partners to accept payments via monthly direct debit from credit cards and bank accounts, awarding points to members for on-time payment.
A number of credit cards are allowing the transference of reward points to the Racing NSW Rewards Club. They are ANZ Rewards, Macquarie Bank Rewards, Citibank Rewards, Diners Club, Suncorp and Bank of Queensland.
