National Indian loyalty scheme i-mint has partnered with muliplex cinema chain Cinemax to enable movie-goers and i-mint card holders to earn points at Cinemax cinemas.
Points can be redeemed for a reduction or free tickets. Cinemax senior VP Devang Sampat said: “This association will help us serve our customers better.”

I-mint card holders can now buy tickets at the box office and earn up to 14 points per ticket. The points earned depend on how much a cardholder spends and on which days. For example, a ticket costing Rs140 will earn 14 points on a Tuesday, but only 1 point on peak-time Fridays and weekends.

i-mint cards have multiple retailer partnerships and can be used for paying Airtel phone bils and buying clothes at Lifestyle. The cards capture these transactions and store points in a common account. Consumers can points at one partner and spend them at another.

I-mint says that Cinemax is a very beneficial partner with awidespread national presence of 51 locations across India.
