Rewards service to start on Palestine’s West Bank
e-Points, a member of the OFFTEC Investment Group has launched its loyalty programme services in
Ramallah as a first step toward its launch in the West Bank through its sister company, OFFTEC Palestine.
Launched in Palestine in 2005, e-Points has created a clientele base of approximately 98,000 cardholders and a network of more than 350 participating merchants with retail, hospitality and service outlets in the Kingdom.
e-Points Palestine has already attracted more than 100 participating merchants from dining, fashion, gift, service, family circle and foodstuff outlets in the West Bank, and expects to create a solid clientele base of 30,000 cardholders by the end of 2008.
Jamil Daher, regional manager of OFFTEC Palestine, comments: “e-Points is the largest customer reward programme in the Middle East and since Palestine is in close proximity to Jordan and there are frequent visits of both nationals to the countries, e-Points realized the added benefit it can give to its cardholders for utilizing the services across borders thus increasing the benefit to the participating merchants.
“e-Points supports participating merchants to maintain consumer loyalty and therefore achieve more sales and profits. It also aims at rewarding cardholders as they can earn points from purchases they make that can be redeemed for products and services within the e-Points network in various countries.’”
