SME scheme members offered advertising on F1 cars
Telco customers can get logos featured on McLaren cars
Small to medium size business customers of Vodafone can put their logo on Formula 1 cars as part of the telco’s VIP loyalty scheme.
The loyalty scheme is open to Vodafone’s personal and business customers and offers rewards connected to events it has sponsored.
By registering at promotions.vodafone.co.uk/f1 between June 22 and July 1, one company could have its logo on the two Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars at the 2010 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix, reaching a global television audience of hundreds of millions.
As well as having their logo on each of the two cars, the winning business will get a pair of grandstand tickets for two people to watch the race on July 11.
Guy Laurence, Vodafone UK’s CEO, commented: “The chance for a small to medium size business customer to feature on a Vodafone McLaren Mercedes car is unique. It’s global television exposure for free.”
Customers who register at vodafone.co.uk/vip will also be able to win tickets to some of this summer’s music festivals through a new partnership with Live Nation. They will also be able to attend fashion shows and previews at UK fashion events with the sponsorship of Vodafone London Fashion Weekend.
In addition to F1, other events covered by the sponsorship include Vodafone London Fashion Weekend in September and music festivals such as Leeds, Reading, T in the Park and Wireless.
