Telco starts channel on YouTube??
UK telco T-Mobile has launched an interactive channel for customers on the YouTube website.
It says the facility will enable its mobile phone users to communicate with the company and each other.
Customers with a T-Mobile G1 phone can post questions about their handsets and receive answers in written or video format.
The channel will also include blogs, advice and video posts giving tips on how to get the best out of the phone.
Brendan Cooling, head of online at T-Mobile, said the move does not mean the company is moving away from contact centre-led customer service, but it was the ways in which its customers can interact efficiently with the company.
He added that many customers are now routinely using social networking sites and many brands are therefore using social media to connect with their customers.
