Ten Group appoints former Amex exec
Corporate and private lifestyle concierge business Ten Group has appointed Joanne Lawlor as its new product director, with focus on consumer loyalty.
She joins from American Express where she held numerous posts, most recently as its head of premium products responsible for developing and driving the overall premium product line strategy, working with global network partners, to continually engage the end consumer.
Lawlor’s appointment is the first to this role, and is part of its plans to tailor its services directly to individuals, in a drive to reach and engage with wider global consumer audiences.
Since launching in 1998, Ten says it now has over 2 million members, with 15 offices worldwide, employing 400 Lifestyle Concierges and other staff.
Ten Group CEO Alex Cheatle commented: “Joanne’s role is pivotal to the growth of our business as we move towards launching our new digital platform, developed specifically for our individual members. She will work closely with our internal heads ensuring that the full value of the products, benefits and services we offer will be demonstrated in time for the launch in early 2015.”
Lawlor said: “I was drawn to the role as I was continually impressed by Ten’s understanding of what it is to consistently deliver a premium service, always putting its members needs first. The launch of the Digital Platform means I’ll be a part of the team pushing the boundaries on innovation within the concierge sector.”
