UK airline joins Star alliance corporate scheme
Carrier becomes thirteenth member
UK airline BMI has joined Star Alliance’s Company Plus (UK) corporate loyalty programme.
The airline becomes the 13th Star Alliance member carrier to participate in the SACP corporate loyalty scheme.
SACP manager for the UK and Ireland Frank Wagner, said: “BMI’s decision to join Star Alliance Company Plus significantly boosts the attractiveness of the programme, as domestic UK flights are now included in the product for the first time.”
In addition to its UK network, BMI is the second largest airline at London Heathrow, operating 10% of flights to/from the airport, which it says will allow SACP participants to travel directly to numerous destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
The SACP corporate loyalty scheme offers participants the opportunity to earn PlusPoints across a network of airlines and destinations. Points can be accumulated through flights with Air Canada, ANA, Austrian, bmi, Blue1, Brussels Airlines, Continental Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, SWISS, TAP Portugal and United.
